Welcome to Aubrey Sabala's Hero Page
Aubrey Sabala has been an animal lover & advocate from as long as she remembers; when she was very young, she said that when she grew up she wanted to “buy all the land and rescue all of the homeless puppies and kitties so all of them had a home”. And throughout her life and career, she has continued to focus on helping that aspiration, often volunteering with animal organizations, providing both her time and money to support incredibly worthwhile organizations like Atlanta Humane Society. She’s also taken that goal personally; she’s rescued numerous pets, including two cats (Sebastian & Sullivan) from AHS and her dog Lila Belle & cat Samantha from private owners who had planned to surrender them.
Aubrey recently moved back to Atlanta after a twelve-year “hiatus” in which she lived in San Francisco and New York City, bringing with her Langley & Malfoy, her sweet and back-yard-loving dog and cat. She is currently the Vice President of Media at digital agency 360i, leading a team of 50+ Search practitioners. Prior to moving back to Atlanta, she was at Google leading Consumer & B2B Marketing teams from 2015-2017, including Google Accessories and Android Pay. Besides Google - where she was also an early employee from 2003-2007 here in Atlanta - she has been pivotal in growing some of technology's most successful companies as a Marketing Exec, including Facebook, Digg, AOL, Sailthru and Booz Allen Hamilton. When she’s not out walking Langley in her Oakhurst neighborhood, she’s likely training for a 5k (or a Half Marathon, a couple times a year), taking Pilates or trying out a new recipe while cooking for friends & neighbors.
