Welcome to My Personal Page
Dear Friends and Family,
In December, I adopted my kitties, Simone and Amelia, from the Humane Society. They have provided me with such joy in the short time that we have shared a home, and adopting them has inspired me to give back to the organization that brought us together. Both of my girls have feline herpes, a highly-contagious and incurable virus that is common among cats in animal shelters. The disease is treatable and manageable, and I'm thankful to have the means to provide them with the veterinary care they need to stay happy and healthy. I'm walking in the Atlanta Humane Society's 2017 Walk for the Animals 5K in honor of Amelia and Simone and all the other shelter kitties who are waiting to find their forever homes.
I hope that you will help me in supporting the Atlanta Humane Society and its mission to end pet homelessness and overpopulation in the southeastern United States. In September alone, he Atlanta Humane Society has taken in over 560 dogs and cats from Florida and Texas that were evacuated due to the recent hurricanes.
Our help is needed more than ever!
A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated and will go to such good use by the amazing staff and volunteers at the Atlanta Humane Society. Just think what your dollars can do:
- $10 buys a stainless steel food bowl for a growing puppy
- $25 buys a microchip for a new adoptee so she can always find her way back home
- $50 helps cover the cost to spay or neuter a new arrival to the shelter
- $75 feeds 7 dogs for a month
- $100 provides critical medical and surgical care to animals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities
On behalf of Team We Like Big MUTTS!, thank you for your contribution to this worthy cause!
